Actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta have happily welcomed their second child—a baby girl. The duo announced the warm news to fans in a heartfelt Instagram post with a hospital photo. In the photo, Ishita and Vatsal can be seen holding their new baby, with smileys emanating happiness and satisfaction. Their first child, son Vaayu, who was born in July 2023, is all set to turn two.
Ishita captioned the photo, “From two to four hearts beating as one. Our family is now complete. Blessed with a baby girl.” Fans and friends promptly filled the comments with congratulations, welcoming the expanding family.
Excitement and Preparation
In February, Ishita’s pregnancy had been confirmed by Vatsal in an interview, both of them saying how happy they were. “It was a surprise, a very-very happy surprise,” he had informed. He had also spoken about how they would have to manage balancing care between their firstborn and the baby. “Once the child is born, I will look after Vaayu, and Ishita will be with our new angel,” he had stated, highlighting the synchronization that parenthood involves.
Ishita provided glimpses into her Bengali Shaadh ceremony, a ritual to bless the unborn baby, during her pregnancy. Posting pictures of little Vaayu with her, she captioned, “Shaadh, celebrating the little life within, a bit early this time… P.S. Vaayu couldn’t wait to dig into all the yummy food.”
On the Work Front
Ishita finished working on a forthcoming project prior to going on maternity leave. She will return to the silver screen in Drishyam 3 as well, in her role with Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran.
Ishita and Vatsal’s romance started on the sets of Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar in 2016, which resulted in their marriage in 2017. With their baby girl’s arrival, their life as a family gets even more lovely.
