Vijay Deverakonda is set to make a powerful return to cinemas with Kingdom, the upcoming action-packed drama titled Saamrajya for its Hindi release. Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is scheduled to hit theatres across India on July 31, releasing in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.
Set in a dark, turbulent world of betrayal and broken loyalties, Saamrajya features Deverakonda in a never-before-seen avatar — rugged, emotionally scarred, and physically transformed. The narrative revolves around a reluctant hero, who never sought the throne but is forced to claim it when the world around him falls apart.
“Saamrajya is about a man whose scars tell the story of a kingdom’s fall, and perhaps its rebirth,” said Tinnanuri, highlighting the emotional weight behind the film.
The film’s teaser, already a viral hit, features voiceovers from top stars in multiple languages Jr NTR (Telugu), Suriya (Tamil), and Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi). Deverakonda revealed that Ranbir enthusiastically agreed to voice the Hindi teaser even before being officially asked, thanks to a connection via director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Saamrajya is presented in Hindi by Aditya Bhatia (Adwise Movies) and Atul Rajani, with distribution by AA Films across North India.

Adding to its appeal is a visually striking AI-designed promotional video, earning praise for its creative innovation. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John handle cinematography.
The film also stars Satyadev and newcomer Bhagyashri Borse in key roles. With high-stakes action, political intrigue, and emotional depth, Saamrajya is expected to be one of 2025’s biggest Indian releases.
