The highly anticipated Kannappa trailer is finally here, and it’s already making waves on all social media platforms. It is topped by Vishnu Manchu, who is also the writer of the story and screenplay, the mythological action epic boasts star-studded cameos by Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is being released worldwide on June 27, 2025.
A Star-Studded Mythological Spectacle
Vishnu Manchu is Thinnadu, a gutsy warrior who turns into Bhakta Kannappa, a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. Akshay Kumar does the divine character of Mahadev (Lord Shiva), while Prabhas adds gravity as Rudra. Mohanlal takes on a grand role as Kirata, making the grandness of the film even greater.
The supporting cast also boasts a strong lineup that includes Kajal Aggarwal, Sarath Kumar, Brahmanandam, Saptagiri, Mukesh Rishi, and others. Directed by veteran actor Mohan Babu (father of Vishnu), the film is among the year’s biggest pan-Indian projects.
