Akhil Akkineni, son of the great actor Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, recently got married with his longtime girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee on June 6. The wedding was held at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a beloved place founded by Akhil’s grandfather, the great actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Elegant Wedding Wear and Celeb Guests
The duo looked resplendent in their white classical attire. Akhil wore a classic white kurta and dhoti, while Zainab shone brightly in a white silk saree accompanied by a golden blouse. Various celebrities from the Telugu film world attended the wedding, which included Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Upasana his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Naga Chaitanya.
Guests followed a white and gold theme dress code, and special appearances were made by director Prashant Neel, Daggubati Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna himself. Ram Charan and Upasana aced the theme with their chic all-white outfits.

Festivities and Family Bonds
The festivities included a colorful baraat procession during which Naga Chaitanya stole the show with his dance in a traditional red kurta. Chaitanya, Akhil’s half-brother in Nagarjuna’s first marriage, got remarried a year ago to actress Sobhita Dhulipala following his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021.
Akhil and Zainab were engaged in November 2024 after being in a relationship for two years. Zainab, who is an artist by profession, recently exhibited her work at an exhibition called Reflections in Hyderabad.

About the Bride and Groom
Akhil started his acting career as a kid in Sisindri (1995) and thereafter acted in films such as Agent (2023), Mr Majnu (2019), and Hello! (2017). Zainab hails from a popular family—her father Zulfi Ravdjee is a well-known figure in construction, and her brother Zain Ravdjee is the head of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd.
