Critical Acclaim and Star Appreciation
The film has been praised for its gripping narrative and powerful performances. Dhanush, in particular, has received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Deva, a beggar drawn into a world of crime and shadow finance. At the film’s success celebration, megastar Chiranjeevi lauded Dhanush’s performance, saying, “No one else could have played Deva. I couldn’t even recognize Dhanush on screen—he was so immersed in the role. If he doesn’t win Best Actor at the National Awards, there’s no point in having them.”
