Tamannaah Bhatia and Hebah Patel’s supernatural thriller Odela 2 hit the big screens on April 17. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film initially generated buzz with positive word-of-mouth, but that momentum failed to translate into sustained box office success.
Steady Drop in Daily Earnings
Despite opening to a decent collection of Rs 0.9 crore on Day 1, Odela 2 has seen a gradual decline in its earnings. On Day 2, it collected Rs 0.85 crore, followed by Rs 0.75 crore on Day 3. The film slightly rebounded on Day 4 with another Rs 0.9 crore, but Day 5 saw a sharp drop to Rs 0.38 crore. This brings the total India net collection to Rs 3.78 crore, far below expectations.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Telugu-language film recorded an overall occupancy of just 13.63% on Monday. Morning shows saw 12.15%, afternoon shows climbed to 15.51%, and evening and night shows hovered around 13%.
High Budget, Low Returns
Odela 2 was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 24 crore, including promotional expenses, as per Bollymoviereviewz.com. Given the current trend, the film faces a tough road ahead in recovering its costs.

Storyline and Cast
Set in a culturally rich and remote village, Odela 2 revolves around a haunting by a vengeful spirit. An Aghori named Shiva Shakthi, portrayed by Vasishta N. Simha, enters the scene to confront the supernatural threat and restore peace.
The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Hebah Patel, Murali Sharma, Dayanand Reddy, Srikanth Iyengar, and Pooja Reddy, among others. Produced by D. Madhu, the movie offers a mix of tradition, mystery, and spirituality—but is struggling to draw crowds to theatres.
