Will Smith ignited the Premio Lo Nuestro awards stage in Miami with a hot performance of First Love with Spanish singer India Martínez. The two sang their hit, and their intense chemistry almost resulted in an on-stage kiss, which had social media abuzz.
A Performance Full of Passion
On stage, Martínez, aged 39, draped her arm around Will’s neck, holding him close while they locked gazes. At the moment of maximum tension, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor, aged 56, puckered his lips, as if he was going to kiss her—only to both tease by pulling away at the very last second. The close moment ignited passion among the fans, while others trolled it, given his current marital status with Jada Pinkett Smith.
Martínez then posted the performance on Instagram, using the caption in the form of lyrics from their song:
“I want that first passion / I want them first hugs / I want them hard cries / I want that FIRST LOVE ♥️.”
She added in Spanish as well, “otra perspectiva, misma pasión!!” which translates to “another perspective, same passion!!”

Will and Jada’s Complicated Relationship
The performance takes place amidst controversy of Will and Jada’s non-traditional marriage. In 2023, Jada came out and said that although they are still married, they had been leading separate lives since 2016. Contrary to rumors, she neither confirmed having an affair nor said anything with which their long-open marriage could be associated.
Will and Jada, who have been married since 1997, have two children, Willow, 24, and Jaden, 26. Will also has a son, Trey, 32, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino.
