In March, singer Neha Kakkar went viral after a video from her Melbourne concert showed her breaking down and apologising to fans for a delayed performance. On stage, Neha claimed that the event organisers failed to provide basic arrangements like food, water, and hotel accommodation for her team, and that they fled without paying dues. She also alleged that the sound check was delayed due to non-payment to vendors.
However, Australian rapper and event host Pace D, along with event planner Bikram Singh Randhawa, has now come forward to challenge her version of events. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Pace D clarified that Beat Production invited Neha for the concert and stated that the arrangements were in place. “We were there and saw everything,” he said. “Her mic and entire setup were ready. The opening acts went smoothly.”

He also claimed to have spoken with event organiser Preet Pabla, who told him that Neha was the one causing delays. “She didn’t arrive on time and kept saying things like, ‘I won’t go now; I won’t do this.’” According to Bikram Singh Randhawa, Neha arrived at 10 PM, while the show was scheduled for 7:30 PM. “The crowd was cheering and waiting. People had bought tickets worth up to AUD 300, and they were upset.”
The organisers further alleged that Neha refused to perform unless the venue was filled with more people, reportedly saying, “Only 700 people? Until more people come in, I’m not going to perform.”

Pace D firmly denied the claims made by Neha regarding mismanagement. “Everything was set up properly. What she’s saying doesn’t match what we witnessed.”
The controversy remains ongoing, with both sides standing by their statements.
