ARMYs Can’t Get Enough! Jungkook’s New Tattoo Steals the Show at J-Hope’s Concert

BTS’ golden maknae Jungkook staged a dramatic comeback to the stage on June 13 at J-Hope’s “HOPE ON THE STAGE” concert in Goyang, which took place to commemorate BTS’ 12th debut anniversary. While fans were delighted with his much-anticipated comeback, it was a cryptic new tattoo that captured the limelight.

Back on Stage, Bolder Than Ever

Returning from his 18-month military break, Jungkook took the stage with J-Hope to sing their joint single i wonder, and then delivered a high-energy solo rendition of his worldwide hit SEVEN. His energetic singing and entrancing stage presence got the audience abuzz—but fans caught a glimpse of something else too: a tattoo from the right side of his chest, revealed under his sleeveless white vest.

ARMYs soon were abuzz on social media, wondering if this is an added feature to Jungkook’s already long list of tattoos. While some fans think the tattoo is of a swallow, a bird that holds connotations of freedom and new travel, others pointed out its colored design, perhaps signifying some inner meaning.

Symbolism and Style

Jungkook has a history of tattoo love, with many of them being meaningful. His arms already contain a variety of symbolic and intricate tattoos, and this new chest tattoo if confirmed would be another reflection of his growing artistic and personal identity.

Reuniting with BTS Members

Adding to the emotional charge of the evening, Jungkook met up with Jin and J-Hope for an emotive performance of Jamais Vu, one of the fan favorites. Subsequently, he joined fans in singing along to BTS hits such as MIC Drop, Baepsae, and Airplane Pt. 2.
