Rats in the Walls, Drama in the Heart: And Just Like That Season 3’s Most Memorable Dialogues

After a long wait, Max has finally dropped the trailer for Season 3 of And Just Like That…, the popular follow-up to Sex and the City. The 12-episode season is set to premiere on May 29, with new episodes releasing weekly. The fresh trailer teases exciting new beginnings for Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate summer in New York City. Carrie explores the world of romantic fiction, Miranda embarks on a new job and potential relationship, and Charlotte supports her daughter’s blossoming romance.

The trailer also hints at complications for Carrie and Aidan (John Corbett), who rekindled their romance last season. Their relationship faces fresh challenges, and in one hilarious moment, Carrie is seen dodging a pack of rats, joking, “Prancing around like in The Nutcracker.”

Cast Changes and New Additions
Season 3 arrives nearly two years after Season 2 concluded in August 2023, a delay caused by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Ahead of this season, it’s been confirmed that Sara Ramírez (Che Diaz) and Karen Pittman (Professor Nya Wallace) will not return — Ramírez’s departure ties to the storyline, while Pittman’s exit stems from scheduling conflicts.

Additionally, Mehcad Brooks (Law & Order), Jonathan Cake (Desperate Housewives), and Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus) have been cast in recurring roles. Sebastiano Pigazzi and Dolly Wells have been promoted to series regulars.

And Just Like That Season 3 premieres May 29 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT exclusively on Max.
