BTS members RM and V have formally finished their compulsory military service and have made a nostalgic comeback on June 10, 2025. The two were welcomed back with cheers and enthusiasm at Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, where other BTS members and media personnel had been waiting.
RM and V’s Triumphant Return
RM (Kim Namjooon), who was in the 15th Infantry Division’s military band, emerged dressed in uniform on saxophone. V (Kim Taehyung), who joined the 2nd Corps Military Police Unit’s elite Special Duty Team (SDT), met fans with colorful flower bouquets in hand. Fans marked their comeback by letting loose colorful balloons in the air, resulting in a heartwarming and ecstatic moment.

Ahead of his discharge, RM posted a proud collage of himself in uniform, captioned, “I’m discharged from the military.” V, on the other hand, stirred excitement by sharing photos with actor Song Kang and famed director Park Chan-wook, fueling speculation about a possible acting project. Given V’s acting history, fans are eagerly awaiting news of a potential cinematic debut.
