BTS members V and Jungkook, or TaeKook as they are affectionately called, again set the internet ablaze with their unparalleled charm and camaraderie. During a surprise Instagram Live in a car in Los Angeles, the two captured fans’ hearts by reenacting the hit “aura farming” dance — a meme first popularized by Indonesian kid Rayyan Arkan Dhika.
TaeKook’s Hilarious Take on the Meme
Still buckled into their car seats, Jungkook and V started imitating the silky smooth, rhythmic arm gestures of the 11-year-old internet sensation. The twosome’s relaxed, unstudied-in-sync dance steps had fans in hysterics. Their goofy grins and silly vibes made the moment somehow replayable in an instant, with ARMYs quickly sharing clips on social media.
One fan swooned, “TaeKook just remade the viral aura farming meme and now my life is complete,” while another posted, “They’re messy, cute, and so in sync this is why we love them!”

What is “Aura Farming”?
The “aura farming” meme started after a clip of Rayyan Arkan Dhika nonchalantly dancing on top of a racing canoe while Indonesia’s Pacu Jalur boat race took place went viral. Sunglasses on and peaceful hand movements, Rayyan became known as the “ultimate aura farmer,” sparking a worldwide trend one that TaeKook just made even more legendary.
