The trailer launch of SHAANDAAR was one fun event with many ROFL moments. And the main credit goes to the inimitable Karan Johar.
At one point during the Q&A session, it got funnily awkward when a journalist asked a particular question.

The conversation went like this:
Journalist: From what we’ve heard you guys play insomniacs in the film?
Shahid: Yes, we are.
Journalist: Do you remember any recent moment where you had to spend sleepless nights for any particular event that might have happened in your life?
Shahid: What kind of events are you talking about? (All start giggling from here on)
Alia: Ya. Together or apart?
Journalist: Together would be great. I don’t know.
Karan: Shahid, when did you and Alia have a sleepless night?
Alia (to the journalist): What are you talking about?
Journalist: I’m talking about any independent event, separate of each other.
Alia: Specify.
Shahid: You want us to talk about reasons why we don’t sleep? Which are quirky? Separately?
Karan: Some quirky reasons why people don’t sleep are now banned.
Karan got almost the entire auditorium clapping with this answer. And why not? It was truly a ‘shaandaar’ response after all! 😉
