Tiger Shroff is once again trending on social media, though this time not because of his stunts or movies, but because of his outfit or what little there was of it. In a video that has since gone viral, the actor is playing cricket with choreographer Ganesh Acharya and others in just black underwear and sports shoes. Tiger was the only one wearing as little as that, which soon set off a chain of reactions online.

The clip was edited to feature several shots of Tiger actively playing cricket, demonstrating his athletic ability and ripped body. As much as some fans commended him for being so fit and for keeping himself gym-perfect, others wondered why he needed so little clothing. “Cricket is fine, but why underclothes?” posted a user. Another rhetorically asked sarcastically, “Does he not have clothes?” Some even made light of the lack of a “uniform” among the players.

Social Commentary and Backlash

Many netizens pointed out the double standards on social media, noting that women often face harsh criticism for wearing revealing clothes. One comment read, “If a girl had posted a similar video, all men would be trolling her.” Another added, “Tiger, have some self-respect. You’re someone’s future husband.” The video sparked broader conversations about societal expectations and gender norms in celebrity culture.

On the Work Front

In terms of work, Tiger Shroff last appeared in Singham Again and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the second one being a high-octane action film with Akshay Kumar. Although it had a huge scale and star cast, the movie failed at the box office, making it Tiger’s third successive box office failure following Ganapath and Heropanti 2.

But the actor is preparing to return to screen with Baaghi 4, which will have a darker tone and an emotionally charged plot as his Ronnie battles against an international terror network.
