When younger actors get a chance to work with seniors, there is a lot they can learn from them and their experience. Sidharth Malhotra who has worked with Akshay Kumar & Jackie Shroff in BROTHERS has also learnt from his seniors. Also Jackie, who is Sidharth’s father in the film, is so impressed with the young actor that he would love him to play his role in the remake of RAM LAKHAN.

When Sid was told that Jackie Shroff has recommended his name for RAM LAKHAN remake, he replied, “Yeah I read this before. He said this very sweetly before also. Further ask him how does he take it coming from a person of his stature and he says, “I think it’s very sweet and a big compliment coming from him. We really bonded on this film. As I said, more than my father, he was like a friend. And you know- chilling, having fun and it’s just so easy after doing so much work. I like the way both of them (Akshay Kumar & Jackie Shroff) carry their stardom. They’ve done so much work, and it’s a thing to learn from as a younger actor and just starting off and as also not being from the industry and having a reference. So now I think I have gained so much from BROTHERS that I would use their off-screen persona on camera as a reference, and hopefully be this relaxed and happy when you work. They have a great way of carrying their stardom.”
