Actress Rhea Chakraborty is stepping into a new chapter of her life following the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) recent findings in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. According to reports, the CBI has given a clean chit in the matter, stating that there is no evidence suggesting anyone was responsible for abetment of the actor’s death. This verdict marks a turning point for Rhea, who endured intense media scrutiny and public outrage in 2020.

Calls for Accountability from the Media
In the wake of the CBI’s statement, actress Dia Mirza also voiced her support for Rhea. Posting on Instagram Stories, Dia asked, “Who in the media will have the grace to put out a written apology to Rhea Chakraborty and her family?” She accused the media of conducting a “witch hunt” in 2020 and called for accountability.
Rhea was arrested in September 2020 on drug-related charges linked to the case and spent 28 days in custody before being granted bail. Now, with the past behind her, Rhea is ready to begin again.
