Actors Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are creating a buzz with their new movie Mere Husband Ki Biwi, and one of their promotional activities has been an appearance on the hit TV show India’s Best Dancer vs Super Dancer. One of the things that everyone was looking forward to during their visit was their banter with Arjun’s former girlfriend, Malaika Arora, who is a judge on the show.
Arjun’s Compliment to Malaika and Their Light-Hearted Banter
Throughout the episode, Malaika danced to some of her most popular dance numbers, which left Arjun utterly speechless. When questioned about Malaika’s performance, he humorously replied, “Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalo se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hu (My mouth has been shut for many years; I prefer being quiet now also),” leaving everyone in stitches. Arjun continued to compliment Malaika’s fantastic career, especially her contribution towards the music and dance industry. He added, “The genre of music, the type of performances, and the fact that we can honor someone who is still doing an incredible job, so congratulations, Malaika. You understand how much I adore all these songs.”

Malaika smiled graciously and thanked him for the compliment, and their friendly repartee went on, particularly when Arjun teased her about the rivalry among the judges of the show.
Promotions and Relationship Dynamics
Malaika and Arjun, who started dating in 2018, have been quite open about their relationship in the past, frequently sharing romantic moments. However, during the promotions for Singham Again in 2024, when Arjun was addressing a crowd chanting Malaika’s name, he humorously stated, “Nahi, abhi single hoon. Relax karo.” (No, I’m single now. Relax).
Arjun and Bhumi’s film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh, will be released on February 21.
