Actress Meera Chopra, another cousin of Mannara, also extended her condolences during a media interaction. Speaking to Instant Bollywood at a recent event, Meera revealed she had just learned about the news moments before stepping onto the red carpet. “Yes, I just got to know about the news a few minutes ago when I entered the event. Vicky (Jain) told me about his demise. I knew he was admitted to the hospital, but Vicky shared the news about his demise. He was fine, so I don’t know what exactly happened,” she said.
Meera expressed her concern and sadness over the unexpected nature of the death. “It is very sad. I think losing a parent nothing can be worse than that. I know Mannara, Mitali dono unse bahot close thi,” she added, referring to Mannara and her sister Mitali’s strong bond with their late father. “It was a very close-knit family, do betiyan thi and mom and dad. It’s very sad.”
