The highly anticipated movie King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan with his daughter Suhana Khan, has been generating enormous buzz among Shah Rukh’s fans. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie has created huge hype, particularly after reports of a possible delay in its shooting schedule. But director Siddharth Anand recently set all such speculations to rest.

No Delay in Shooting: Filming to Start in May

Latest accounts indicated that King’s shooting would be postponed and could only start in June rather than the original May timetable. But in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Siddharth Anand assured that there has been no alteration in the timeline, and the shooting of the film will commence as scheduled in May 2025. The shooting schedule has been well-planned for months, and the first half of the shoot is expected to be finished with 30 percent of the work done.

Plot and Star Cast: A High-Octane Thriller

King is being promoted as a high-octane action thriller, with Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of a strong don. The plot is said to be about the journey of a don who becomes a mentor to a girl. Abhishek Bachchan will also feature in the movie, playing a negative role.

This movie is the second project between Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand after their previous success in Pathaan. The movie will be filmed in India and Europe, with dialogues written by Abbas Tyrewala, who had worked on War 2.

Expected Release and Worldwide Impact

King fans can look forward to its release in theaters by the end of 2026. With a high action factor and a strong star cast, it’s set to be among the most highly anticipated movies of the next few years.
