Bollywood’s favorite couple, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, have welcomed their first child a baby girl. The couple, who got married in a fairytale-like ceremony in Rajasthan in February 2023, made the happy announcement to fans and well-wishers, and celebrations began across social media.
The couple had revealed their pregnancy in February 2025 through a romantic Instagram announcement that showed the two holding a couple of miniature baby socks. Kiara had written, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon,” and immediately melted hearts and stirred excitement across the entertainment industry.
From Reel to Real Love Story
Kiara and Sidharth made hearts first with the on-screen chemistry in Shershaah (2021), where Sidharth played the late Captain Vikram Batra, and Kiara played his love, Dimple Cheema. Their performance of the emotional war-time love story struck a chord with viewers and set the stage for their off-screen friendship.
Following months of rumors, the two made their romance official and then wed in a low-key, celeb-studded ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. They’ve since been celebrated as one of the most respected and fashion-forward couples in the business.

The birth of their daughter has created a deluge of affection from fellow celebrities, fans, and industry players. The congratulatory messages are running wild on social media sites, with fans celebrating and waiting with bated breath for the first sight of the newborn. Although the couple is yet to post any images of the newborn, insiders close to the family confirm that mother and baby are healthy.

Back to the Spotlight
Even while they embark on parenthood, both Kiara and Sidharth are kept on their toes professionally. Kiara will next be seen in the big screen outing War 2, an action series featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The highly-awaited film is planned for release on August 14, 2025, during the Independence Day weekend.
Sidharth, however, will next be spotted in Param Sundari, a romantic comedy alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Maddock Films, the film is slated for a release on August 29, though official confirmation is pending.
As the couple is moving into this new phase, fans cannot wait to see them blossom not only as professionals but as loving parents to baby girl as well.
