Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor was last seen at the Mumbai airport with her kids, Samaira and Kiaan, as they left for New Delhi for the second prayer meet to mourn her late ex-husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur. Celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani has posted a video which has gone viral on social media, featuring a visibly melancholic Karisma alighting from her car in traditional Indian clothing. The actress and her kids dodged the paparazzi and made a low-key arrival at the airport.
It was the family’s second visit to New Delhi in days, after the first prayer meet that followed Sunjay’s funeral. Although Karisma’s sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan had joined her and the kids for the first service, they were not spotted here.
A Quiet, Emotional Vigil in the Capital
The second prayer gathering was held in New Delhi, where Sunjay Kapur was cremated. Karisma was spotted taking a prayer with her kids, 20-year-old Samaira and 14-year-old Kiaan. In a heart-wrenching show of unity, Sunjay’s wife Priya Sachdev Kapur also joined in the service. Photographs from the ceremony indicated that Karisma was standing beside her crying kids, while Priya was seated, mentally engaging in the memorial service.

Sunjay Kapur’s Sudden Passing
Sunjay Kapur died on June 12 in London at the age of 53. He allegedly died from a fatal heart attack in a polo match when he accidentally swallowed a bee. The resulting allergic reaction was fatal despite the prompt medical help. His sudden death startled the business and entertainment worlds.
Sunjay’s funeral was conducted in New Delhi on June 19. Photos of the solemn ceremony revealed a devastated Karisma comforting her son Kiaan, who was spotted crying uncontrollably. Kareena Kapoor Khan was there to hold her sister’s hand, standing by her side during the traumatic ordeal.
