Amidst circulating rumours and growing hype, Chinese singer-rapper and international K-pop star Jackson Wang has officially refuted any participation in the upcoming Bollywood movie Krrish 4. Speaking in an honest video interview posted by the Press Trust of India (PTI), the member of GOT7 labelled the news as “fake news” and explained how the rumour started.
“It’s Fake News,” Says Jackson Wang
“It’s fake news. It’s a big movie, and I’ve never acted before, so it’s impossible for me,” Jackson said with a laugh, addressing the viral rumours linking him to Krrish 4. He explained that the speculation stemmed from a playful joke between him and a friend, which somehow spiraled into full-blown fan theories online. “This is a joke between him and me. It was just entertaining news,” he added, setting the record straight.
Cameo Buzz Ignites International Fan Frenzy
Whispers of Jackson’s Bollywood debut started circulating on social media platforms after unsubstantiated reports suggested he may make a cameo appearance in Krrish 4, the next installment of Hrithik Roshan’s legendary superhero series. The possibility of a crossover between an international K-pop sensation and an Indian superhero created huge fan interest, creating viral fan edits and internet speculation.
Earlier, Jackson had jokingly informed Pinkvilla that he was “the new Krrish,” before immediately making it clear that he was joking. “Sorry, I’m an extrovert—please forgive that. I enjoy mixing sh*t up,” he chuckled.
