Housefull 5B, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, is the wackier half of the 2025 comedy blockbuster Housefull 5, and it doesn’t hold back on the madness. Featuring stars like Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Chitrangda Singh, this version delivers a murder mystery wrapped in full-blown comedy.
A Hologram, a Hidden Death, and Three Jollys
The plot kicks off with billionaire Ranjeet Dobriyal (Ranjeet) dying just before his 100th birthday. To keep the party on track, his stepson Dev (Fardeen Khan) hides the death. But at the celebration, a hologram of Ranjeet reveals that his entire fortune worth £69 billion will go to his son Jolly from a previous marriage. This sparks a wild competition among three imposters: Jalabuddin (Riteish Deshmukh), Jalbhushan (Abhishek Bachchan), and Julius (Akshay Kumar), each claiming to be Jolly.

Tampered Tests and a Murder at Sea
A DNA test is ordered on a luxury cruise to determine the true heir. During a party, Aakhri Pasta (Chunky Panday) spikes a drink meant for Batuk Patel (Johnny Lever), but the Jollys consume it instead and wake up with no memory of the night. Meanwhile, Maya (Chitrangda Singh), part of Ranjeet’s team, tries to alter the DNA results. When Dr. Joshi catches her, she exploits his peanut allergy and later murders him.

Truth Surfaces as Cops Arrive
Captain Sameer (Nikitin Dheer) witnesses the murder but hesitates to come forward. As suspicions rise, former London cops Bhidu (Sanjay Dutt) and Baba (Jackie Shroff) arrive to investigate. Eventually, Maya is revealed as the mastermind, plotting with Jolly 2 to secure the inheritance.
In true Housefull style, the chaos unravels hilariously before justice is served.
