Initially rumoured to feature a two-hero storyline, Allu Arjun’s team has since clarified that the actor will instead be seen in a dual role. The film is slated to begin production in mid-2025 and is aiming for a grand theatrical release in 2026.

Deepika’s casting announcement comes on the heels of a controversy involving director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Spirit, where she was reportedly dropped. According to reports, Deepika’s demands shorter workdays, a high salary, and a share in the profits led to creative disagreements.
