Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan has officially announced that he and his wife, Sshura Khan, are pregnant with their first child together. The 57-year-old made the announcement in an interview with Delhi Times, where he exclaimed about his joy and excitement. The two got hitched in a private ceremony in December 2023. Arbaaz already has a son, Arhaan Khan, from his previous marriage.
Speaking about the pregnancy, Arbaaz said, “Yes, it is there. I’m not denying that information because right now it’s something that is out there. My family knows about it. It’s pretty evident also. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives.” He added that stepping into fatherhood again brings a fresh wave of emotion. “I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward. It’s giving me a new sense of happiness and responsibility. I’m kind of liking that,” he shared.

Speculation of pregnancy had already started after Arbaaz and Sshura were caught by the paparazzi recently. The couple was seen smiling and exchanging shy looks, blushing as photographers congratulated them while they made a public appearance. Arbaaz tried to play down the attention, with his response leaving hints that they weren’t quite ready to handle the issue in the open at the time.
In the viral video, when the couple was heading towards their vehicle, a paparazzo uttered, “Jaane do.” Arbaaz, smiling, answered back, “Aap log bhi jaane do,” and then added, “Kabhi kabhi samjha karo,” reminding everyone in a subtle manner to respect their privacy.
