The official trailer of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey, is out now, and it’s already making waves. Releasing in theaters on July 11, the romantic drama will compete at the box office with Rajkummar Rao’s gangster action movie Maalik. Santosh Singh directs the film, which is an adaptation of Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It, and features Shanaya Kapoor in her much-awaited debut as an actor.
Love, Emotions, and a Story of Doubt
The trailer begins with light-hearted moments between Shanaya and Vikrant, slowly revealing a sweet love story. Shanaya is an artist who acts blind and already has a crush on someone else. Vikrant, a blind musician, enters her life and ignites a surprise romance. The story hints at emotional conflicts — will Shanaya opt for her current love or Vikrant?

Audiences are showing their eagerness on social media, overwhelming comment sections with the words “Can’t wait” and wishing luck to Shanaya’s debut performance.
Backstage Scenes and Music Release
Raising the excitement even higher, Shanaya posted a BTS reel on Instagram of the movie’s first outdoor shoot. Sporting a red dress and covered in a puffer jacket, she braved cold weather as her co-star Vikrant Massey gave words of encouragement.
Directed by Aijaz Khan, the film is presented by Zee Studios, Mini Films, and Open Window Films. The second poster and the teaser of the title track — sung by Jubin Nautiyal with music and lyrics by Vishal Mishra were recently released as well, giving the film its romantic touch.
Shanaya will next be seen in Tu Yaa Main, a survival thriller directed by Bejoy Nambiar, starring Adarsh Gourav along with her.
