The wait of the audience is over. The film Chhaava is now among the audience. The story of the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who became the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire after the death of his father Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film shows how Sambhaji Maharaj carried forward his father’s legacy and fought against the Mughals. Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Sambhaji Maharaj in the film. Akshay Khanna is seen in the role of Aurangzeb.

Sambhaji Maharaj’s bravery and Vicky Kaushal’s acting are the main attractions in the film Chhaava. Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Sambhaji Maharaj in a very brilliant way. There is a different charisma in his acting, which keeps you captivated by his screen presence. Vicky’s hard work is visible in the action scenes. But Akshay Khanna has stolen the show with his acting. The dreadful role of Aurangzeb suits him without any fuss. His expressions, makeup and speaking style are superb. Other actors of the film have also done a very good job. Rashmika Mandana has played the role of Sambhaji Maharaj’s wife, and she has done a very good job.

The hard work of the film’s director Laxman Utekar is reflected in this film because cinematography, grand sets, action scenes, costumes, makeup have been worked on well. The dialogues of the film are well written. Laxman has made this film very well, and has presented the story of the film very well. The scope of music in the film is less, but the song depicting bravery is excellent. The length of the film became a bit too much. If the length was a bit less, the pace of the film would have been better.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, Chava is yet another testimony to his exceptional ability to bring entertaining, high-quality cinema to the big screen, blending historical grandeur with modern storytelling and ensuring that each frame is as visually impressive as it is emotionally impactful.

On the whole, Chhaava is the story of a hero whose valour will keep you glued to your seats. 3.5 stars for the film.
