Actor Riteish Deshmukh began his film career with the film TUJHE MERI KASAM which turned out to be a big flop at the box office. Ritesh’s second film OUT OF CONTROL by Vashu Bhagnani didn’t do that well either and it beckoned that Ritesh might not have a promising career in the industry. But unfazed Ritesh moved ahead and delivered a huge hit MASTI, an out-n-out comedy. Followed by KYA KOOL HAIN HUM, MR. YA MRS., MAALAMAL WEEKLY, APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY, HEYY BABY, DHAMAAL etc. These films indeed gave Ritesh Deshmukh a tag of humorous actor. Ritesh is again back in action with his new film DO KNOT DISTURB, releasing on 2nd October. A brief interview with Ritesh Deshmukh is as follows:

‘Govinda is undoubtedly the King…’

with Govinda and David Dhawan, producer Vashu Bhagnani claims that DO KNOT DISTURB will also be a huge hit. What do you have to say about that?
Even I pray and hope that this movie be as successful as CHOTE MIYAN BADE MIYAN

How was it working with Govinda?
It was a wonderful experience. He is undoubtedly the ‘King of Comedy’. When it is Govinda, it instinctively happens that you tend to perform well because of his spontaneous and energetic performance.

Did you ever feel left out while shooting with Govinda and David Dhawan since they are so accustomed to each other?
No, not at all since I know where I stand and where Govinda stands. There is absolutely no comparison.

How was it working with director David Dhawan for the first time?
I was really looking forward to work with him and the day he approached me with this offer, there was no question of second thoughts.

Why do you usually go for comedy films?
Well the only reason for me doing comedy films is because they are enjoyed by the audience every time. It’s not true that I haven’t done any other genre of films but I didn’t get a good response in those movies.

You seem to really enjoy working with Lara Dutta. Any specific reason behind it?
I really like working with Lara Dutta as we share a good rapport. We’ve worked in 2-3 films previously and it’s always fun working with her. Lara and I are again coming up in another movie called HOUSE FULL

Tell us about Sushmita Sen? How was it working with her?
As all of you know that she is so beautiful, she was great to work with. Whenever she used to arrive on the sets, everyone used to silently admire her beauty.

Finally, tell us about your forthcoming films?
There is ALADIN, HOUSE-FULL, RUN, LOOT, SAAMNA and JAANE KAHAN SE AAYI HAI.
