Wearing a pale pink custom Tarun Tahiliani saree, Alia oozed old-school elegance and poise, effortlessly stealing the limelight on the red carpet.
Emitting old-school Bollywood glamour, Alia’s six-yard drape was complemented by a modern blouse with understated embellishments along the collar and a small keyhole neckline. The contemporary update injected the vintage look with a chic one-two punch without compromising on Rekha’s original poise. Rhea Kapoor styled Alia’s look with a coordinating clutch and heels that upped the retro quotient of the overall look.
To round off the tribute, Alia wore feather-shaped glittering earrings and had soft, centre-parted waves, echoing Rekha’s iconic hairstyle in Silsila. A small bindi on her forehead was the last nostalgic touch, bringing the entire look together.
