Hollywood actor Ted Raimi, known for his roles in cult classics and collaborations with his brother Sam Raimi, has shared his love for Indian cinema, especially action-packed films like Ajay Devgn’s Singham series.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Raimi spoke about how much he enjoys Bollywood movies, even though he hasn’t been to India yet. “I’ve always wanted to visit India. I watch every Indian film that makes it to the U.S., especially the action ones. I think India makes some of the best action films in the world,” he said.

When asked about his favorite Indian director, Raimi admitted he couldn’t remember the name, saying he didn’t want to mispronounce it. He recalled watching one particular film that really stood out to him, about a fearless super cop who fights crime, cares for his family, and is in love with a woman.

When Singham was mentioned, Raimi immediately lit up and confirmed it was the one. “Yes! I just love Singham and its sequel,” he said with excitement. Even without having visited India, Ted Raimi’s growing interest in Bollywood, especially its unique style of action storytelling, shows how Indian cinema continues to make a strong impact worldwide.
