The much-awaited trailer of Ground Zero, starring Emraan Hashmi, has been released today. Set against the backdrop of the volatile 2000s Kashmir, the film follows the gripping journey of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dubey, played by Emraan Hashmi, who leads a critical operation to eliminate the terrorist mastermind “Ghazi Baba.”
The Plot: A Tense Kashmir Story
The trailer kicks off with terrorists launching an attack on BSF soldiers, escalating the tension in the valley. As over 60 soldiers are killed in quick succession, Emraan Hashmi’s character, Officer Dubey, is called to lead the operation. The film portrays not just a battle to defeat the terrorists but also an earnest attempt by Dubey to change the mindset of Kashmiris. His goal is not only to defend the land but to bring about a peaceful transformation, advocating for a future where the youth hold paintbrushes, not pistols.

Conflict and Transformation
A major turning point in the story comes when Officer Dubey, initially advocating peace, eventually calls for a prahar (attack), hinting at internal struggles within the system. Directed by Tejas Prabha and Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero is inspired by true events. Emraan Hashmi’s performance is central to the film, which also stars Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, and others in key roles. The film is backed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
Ground Zero will hit theaters on April 25, 2025, promising a tense, action-packed cinematic experience.
