On Saturday, renowned playback singer Shreya Ghoshal took to social media to inform her fans that her X account (formerly known as Twitter) had been hacked. The singer, who has a massive following, shared her distress over the situation and urged her followers to be cautious.
Account Hacked Since February 13
In a post on her Instagram, Shreya revealed that her X account was compromised on February 13 and that she has been attempting to regain control of it ever since. She expressed her frustration with the process, noting that despite her efforts, she has only received a few auto-generated responses from the X team, leaving her unable to resolve the issue.
“Hello, fans and friends. My Twitter / X account has been hacked since February 13th,” Shreya wrote. She further emphasized her inability to delete the account or manage its content due to her lack of access.

A Warning for Followers
Shreya urged her followers to avoid clicking on any links or trusting messages coming from her compromised account. “Please don’t click on any link or believe any message written from that account. They are all spam and phishing links,” she warned. She reassured her fans that once the account is restored and secure, she would personally update them through a video message.
Earlier this year, actress Swara Bhasker also faced a similar hacking incident, though her account was eventually recovered.
As Shreya works to regain control of her account, she encourages fans to stay vigilant and avoid engaging with any suspicious activity linked to her profile.
