Netflix has disclosed the trailer for Season 2 of XO, Kitty, the popular spinoff series from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Starring Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, the series will return to Netflix on January 16.
A teaser suggests Kitty’s new chapter when she returns to Seoul, wishing for a drama-free semester; learning more about her late mother and her own identity. But things quickly spiral out of control for her as she makes new friends, flavors of romance, and family revelations.
According to the official synopsis for the second season: “Kitty returns to Seoul ready for a fresh start, but her plan for a drama-free semester fizzles fast amid new faces, messy crushes, and family secrets.”
XO, Kitty premiered on May 18, 2023, with a total of 10 episodes. The series was created by Jenny Han, and among its executive producers are Jenny Han, Sascha Rothchild, and Anna Cathcart, serving as co-showrunner. The rest of the cast members include Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), and Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), alongside others.
Kitty may very well be setting herself up for even more heart-melting and chaotic experiences, since she is coming to deal with love and personal issues during this season.
