Recently when the financial Budget for 2013-14 was on, the team of Revel Films’ SAARE JAHAAN SE MEHNGA… comprising of actors Sanjay Mishra, Pragati Pandey, Disha, Rajnan Chabra including director Anshul Sharma & producer Ashok Pandey (known for his earlier popular film PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA) along with the host of supporters had participated for DHARNA at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 26th Feb 13.

The DHARNA was to express unity with the middle class over possible increases in prices in the upcoming budget.
Actor Sanjay said, ”The tax-paying middle class is already overburdened. It is high time they got some relief in the budget,” and then added in jest, ‘But if the government reduces prices of any essentials, people may even die because of this acute shock.’

SAARE JAHAAN SE MEHNGA is a hilarious and satirical take on Mehngai (inflation) through a middle class family from a small North Indian City. The family, crushed under the burden of Mehngai. They try to deal with it through an ingenious idea, not realizing the problems they would get tangled into as a result of this idea. It is a comical journey of this family battling these issues.
The film releases on 8th March 2013.
