He’s been acting in films for more than 15 years but it’s only since the past couple of years that Nawazuddin Siddiqui is being recognized for his work.

At the trailer launch of his upcoming film MANJHI, the actor said that he didn’t have many expectations when he came.

“I hadn’t thought much when I came. I tried TV when I came but unfortunately TV became difficult for me. I did C grade films also but I won’t name them. Even in films, I started by doing just one scene. Then after 7-8 years I realized I was doing just one scene and I should at least get two. That’s how it started. It was the same case in theatre also. Had I dreamt of more in the beginning, I would’ve been disappointed and might have even gone back,” said the actor.
Having fewer expectations is a very good way to keep going in life, Nawaz.
